Best Young Living Essential Oils for Meditation
I have been practicing guided meditation every morning. I am fairly new to this, as I started only six months ago. However, if you’ve read my previous posts on meditation, you already know its benefits. It didn’t take me long to realize the therapeutic effects of essential oils. So, I thought, why not incorporate essential oils into my daily meditation routine? Young Living is our affiliate. I use their products and will provide a link to their page at the end of this post. So, what are the most helpful Young Living essential oils to use during meditation? So far, I have 5 favorites.
Valor
Let’s start off with my favorite product! Valor is an essential oil blend, meaning it consists of a few different oils. It is a blend of Black Spruce, Blue Tansy, Camphor Wood, Geranium, and Frankincense. Gary D. Young is the founder and CEO of Young Living. This is his favorite blend as well. It’s aroma is woodsy and grounding, making it perfect for meditation. I personally diffuse this blend in the morning for ten minutes, then at night for ten minutes. It’s effects are astounding. It is relaxing and will put you in a good mood. I think of it as being similar to lavender, as it is perfect for relaxation and sleep as well.
Peace and Calming
This is a very popular blend. Peace and Calming is a citrusy mix of Ylang Ylang, Orange, Tangerine, Patchouli, and Blue Tansy. It’s aroma is calming and sweet. It is also perfect for meditation, because of its calming effects. I also recommend using it in children’s rooms before bedtime. It will calm them and help them prepare for sleep. It is also a great blend to use to when you need to unwind after a stressful day.
Stress Away
Stress Away is a unique blend of lime and vanilla essential oils. The mix of lime and vanilla gives it a unique and calming aroma. It is very pleasant, and great to use for meditation. This product is also blended with Copaiba, Lavender, and Cedarwood. For stress relief, I recommend diffusing it three times daily for ten minutes.
Frankincense
Most of us already know that this essential oil is perfect for any spiritual practice. It has a grounding aroma. It creates a comforting atmosphere and isn’t too strong, which makes it perfect for prayer and any other time you need to feel more grounded. Because of this, it’s a good idea to use Frankincense for meditation.
Lavender
Lavender is great for many things, but did you know it can also be useful in meditation? I use this when I meditate too, because it is calming and promotes a sense of peace. If you love lavender, you can go one step further by adding a few drops in your bathtub for ultimate relaxation.
