YL Essential Oils for Air Purification
California is in crisis…with the soaring wildfires and the PG&E shutdowns; many of us are living in areas with poor air quality. Many of us also have breathing problems and can suffer from complications because of the poor air quality. There may be few things we can do to combat this problem; however, there are ways to make our living spaces more breathable. This blog post will feature the most helpful Young Living Essential oils for purifying the air. As noted, before, Core3 is an affiliate with Young Living. The oils featured here will work best when diffused.
Now let’s take a look at some of the most purifying essential oils from Young Living…
Young Living’s Lemon essential oil comes with a clean, refreshing citrus aroma. When a few drops are placed in a diffuser, this essential oil creates an uplifting atmosphere and a more focused environment. This energizing and refreshing aroma is invigorating and will purify the air in your home. Lemon essential oil can also be used as a household cleaner; when mixed with water and other oils such as pine, grapefruit, and peppermint. To purify the air in your home, diffuse in places such as your kitchen, living room, and/or family room. According to Young Living’s website, this essential oil should be diffused three times daily for up to one hour. It will not only freshen your home but purify the air in your home as well.
Eucalyptus Radiata gives off a very rejuvenating scent and is used in many spas and hotels. What few people know is that, this scent can also be used to purify the air. It has a refreshing, clean aroma and is also known to be energizing and fresh. This essential oil comes from the leaves of an evergreen tree native to Australia. Its aroma sparks a sense of refreshment and renewal. It can also purify the air in your home or office. To use, diffuse three times daily for up to thirty minutes.
This invigorating essential oil blend is one of my personal favorites for home use. It has a clean, refreshing scent. When four to five drops are placed into a diffuser, this blend helps eliminate unwanted odors and keeps your home smelling pure and fresh. It purifies the air and is not too strong. I am sensitive to strong scents and this blend is perfect; the scent is invigorating and relaxing, yet it does not come on too “strong”. Purification is a blend of citronella oil, rosemary leaf oil, lemongrass, tea tree leaf oil, lavandin oil, and myrtle oil. It is important to note that all of the oils from Young Living are 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oil. In my opinion, you can really tell the difference between YL essential oils and others that you can buy elsewhere. They are healthy and pure. Speaking of pure, this blend contains lavandin essential oil; which is known to help clean and purify the air. It can be used in any room in your home; including your office space. Young Living recommends diffusing Purification for up to thirty minutes, three times daily. I usually place 4-5 drops of it into my diffuser. I have a dog; so, this essential oil blend always does the trick!
Our last essential oil blend is one of my favorites too; if not the favorite. When placing 4-5 drops of it in your diffuser, it will have your home smelling like Fall! It is very invigorating; and it always puts me in a really good mood. It is a very uplifting scent and is surprisingly also used as a DIY household cleaner (when mixed with water in a spray bottle). This scent is a blend of cinnamon bark essential oil, lemon, eucalyptus radiata, rosemary, and clove. According to Young Living, it neutralizes and purifies the air from strong odors when diffused. It can also freshen up any atmosphere when its diffused; including the classroom, the office, living/family room, kitchen, and any study space. Thieves essential oil blend has an invitingly warm, spicy scent. I have a neighbor that smokes outside at least three times a day; and whenever the cigarette odor gets too strong, I always reach for Thieves essential oil blend. It gets rid of the smoky odor within minutes and is a very comforting scent. It is recommended to diffuse this blend for up to ten minutes, three times a day. This scent also lingers awhile after the diffuser is turned off; its long-lasting!
